POC Tryouts POC is looking for bright, caring, well rounded, and heavily dedicated students of all races as People of color step team shoots to unite all races of all people. Auditions will be next week in the choir room on the 13th-16th from 3:30-5:00. Please dress out in gym clothes, as it is required to participate in auditions. We would be more than happy to see all the beautiful faces who will hopefully make the team and be a part of The People of Color step team.
Ambassadors - Bake Sale Ambassadors is hosting a BAKE SALE on mainstreet before and after today! Thursday is the last chance to get cookies, brownies, and more for ONLY a DOLLAR each! Bring a dollar, cash only, to get some baked goods to start or end your school day.
Lunch Visits this Week Students, the following representatives will be here this week during lunchtime; Wednesday, Jan 14th- Pittsburg State University, and Thursday, Jan 15th- Park University. Stop by and speak with a representative if you are interested during your lunch.
Pete's Treats Marketing 2 is running a naming contest for Pete's Treats, featuring freeze-dried candy and treats, from January 13 through January 28. Students can submit name ideas using the Google Form on Google Classroom under the Pete's Place topic. All submissions must be original, school-appropriate, and not copyrighted. The student whose name is selected will win a free bag of the treat they helped name. Be creative and check it out!
Nurse Pass Starting this week, our Nurse Pass system is officially in effect. If you need to visit the nurse, you must fill out the Nurse Pass travel form located in your grade-level Google Classroom. You can find it under Quick Links or in its own topic titled "Pass to Nurse." Students, make sure that you are using this appropriately as it is being digitally tracked, and violations will result in a follow up conversation with Administration. Students do not need to take their Chromebook to the nurse, just their pass from their teacher.
