Reflections Stop by the office to pick up entry information for Reflections sponsored by PTA. Use the arts to share your personal Reflections on this year's theme: Heroes Around Me. Submissions are due to Mrs. Edwards in the office by November 30th. Experienced artists will evaluate your work for interpretation of theme, creativity, and technique. Categories include dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography, and visual arts.
Newsies Newsies ticketing is LIVE! The Leavenworth High School fall musical, Newsies is coming November 9,10, 16, and 17th. This year, reserved tickets may be purchased in advance on line at lvhs.booktix.com. This will be an amazing adventure! Tickets will still be available at the door for $4.25 for students and $7.25 for adults.
Senior Release Program Seniors: if you are interested in the second-semester senior release program, please see your counselor immediately. Completed applications are due by Nov. 16.
Drivers Ed Spring Driver's Ed sign up will begin on Monday, November 26th in the main office. See Mrs. Ferguson if you have any questions. Informational fliers are in the main office.
Stella Club Leavenworth High School Theatre will be selling Schlagels Popcorn! It comes in our school colors- Pioneer Blueberry, Kettle Corn White, or a mixture. See Stella Club members to purchase!
Senior Picture Retakes Senior picture retakes will be held in the library on Tuesday, November 27th. If you took a senior picture and have not received your pictures back, please stop by the office to pick them up during passing periods or before and after school.
DGDA To all interested young ladies, the next DGDA Meeting is this Saturday, November 17th in the LHS Library from 10 a.m. - Noon. Please see Mrs. Fairley for details.
US Naval Academy Any student in grades 8-11 interested in attending the US Naval Academy is invited to attend an admissions presentation this Sunday, Nov. 18, at 1 pm at the National World War I Museum. You must RSVP at firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and the number of persons attending.
Yell Leader Pioneer Cheer is looking for young men interested in promoting school spirit and Pioneer Pride to try out for yell leader during the winter season! Informal tryouts will take place on Friday, November 16, from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. in the LHS Cardio Room. Come prepared to learn and demonstrate stunt technique, jumps, and basic cheer motions. Please see Coach Romondo in Room 129 with any questions.
Newsies Congrats on a wonderful opening weekend for Newsies! Our closing weekend will be even more amazing! All cast and crew need to be at our Thursday warm up rehearsal at 4:00.
Power Lifting There will be a power lifting meeting Monday November 19 in the weight room at 3:15. Meeting should last about 30-45 minutes.
PCC Sign Ups Attention all students, did you know you can still sign up to attend Pioneer Career Center 2nd semester? If you are interested in signing up for PCC for this year, please see your counselor immediately. Pioneer career center is determining which classes will be held based upon enrollment numbers, so it is vital you enroll now.
